The OIBT (the Swiss Low-Voltage Installations Ordinance) does not say who has to arrange the electrical inspection (buyer or seller), nor when (before or after the sale). In practice it is often the buyer who takes care of it, after the purchase — and that is when the nasty surprises land: they wanted to redo the kitchen and discover an installation that needs reworking throughout the house, thousands of francs never budgeted. Having the property inspected beforehand removes that uncertainty for the buyer. And for you, the seller, it lets you add value to the property.

Become a partner agencyThe OIBT does not say. In practice it is often the buyer who does it, sometimes well after the purchase — at the risk of discovering costly, unplanned defects.
Defects do not prevent the sale. We provide an inspection report listing the corrections to be carried out by the licensed electrician of your choice.

Same logic, more volume: the safety reports are required. An inspection before marketing lets you control the information instead of being caught out by it.
