ACCEPTANCE

The inspection that validates

A new solar PV installation must be inspected by a body independent of the one that installed it: earthing, continuity of exposed conductive parts, absence of leakage currents. Flat rate for private clients: CHF 599 incl. VAT, bookable online.

PRONOVO

The certificate for your subsidy

We also issue the Pronovo certification of your installation, required for the one-off remuneration (federal subsidy).

CHARGING STATIONS & HEAT PUMPS

Same requirement

EV charging stations and heat pumps must be declared to the grid operator (electricity distributor) and validated. Not done? We inspect as it stands and put the file back in order.

Did your installer disappear before validation?

Some companies sell solar installations, never finish them or deliver them without official validation — then close down. The work was often done by unqualified fitters: the errors are numerous and nothing was declared to the grid operator. We regularly take over this kind of installation.

The steps: an authorised electrical installer agrees to take over the installation as if it were their own → they file the installation notification → correct the errors → carry out their final inspection → and we carry out the acceptance inspection that closes the file. We can pass on the names of companies that work this way.

The budget to plan for

Between CHF 1,500 and 2,000 for the administrative steps and the two inspections (final + acceptance), not including corrections — they depend on the condition of the installation. Our role: keep the bill to the strict minimum and tell you in advance what to expect.

Prevention is better than cure: check before you sign

Before ordering and paying a deposit, three checks that take ten minutes:

01

Your grid operator

Ask them whether they know the company: they know who declares their work properly. Preferably choose a company they know.

02

The ESTI register

Any company that installs must appear on the ESTI register of installation authorisations (ESTI = Swiss Federal Inspectorate for Heavy Current Installations). Not on the register: don't sign. We are listed there — inspection authorisation K-284772-1.

03

The reviews

Google reviews and local reference projects. A serious company has nothing to hide.

Frequently asked questions

Is an inspection really required after installing panels?

Yes — by a body independent of the one that installed the system. That is what checks the earthing, the continuity of exposed conductive parts and the absence of leakage currents. Flat rate for private clients: CHF 599 incl. VAT, bookable online.

What is the Pronovo certificate?

The document that certifies your installation with Pronovo, the body that pays the one-off remuneration (federal subsidy). We issue it during the acceptance inspection.

My installer no longer answers. Am I stuck?

No, but it has to be regularised: takeover by an authorised installer, corrections, final inspection, then independent acceptance inspection. Describe your situation to us — we tell you what needs to be done, in what order, and what it will cost.

"Ordinary" electrical work that was never declared — is it the same problem?

Yes, and it is more and more common. See the dedicated page →
